General CMA Parking

The newly expanded CMA garage is open for general public use.

The all-weather access tunnel from Level P2 to the lower Education level of the museum is now complete and open to the public. Guests will enter on the Education level and may use either the main stairs or elevators to access the North Lobby. Tunnel elevator and stairs will open in the coming weeks.

Access to the museum from the garage may also be made by walking up the stairs at the south end of the structure (the same place they used to be) to level P3 and following the paved path to the new glass lobby entrance. Of course, for those who prefer, a new elevator is available inside the garage. It is located in the new eastern portion of the garage and used to get from lower decks to the path or upper decks to the all-weather access tunnel.

ADA parking is distributed throughout the structure; some near the elevator, some on the open deck closest to the lobby entrance. Our garage still uses the original entrance so the same height restrictions remain. If a particularly tall ADA-equipped van is used, please contact parking or Visitor Services personnel for assistance.

Construction activity continues - including the adjacent landscaping and pedestrian sidewalks connecting the parking facility to the museum - so please use great care and vigilance when traveling the paths in and around the garage structure.

Museum Café Hours

10am-2pm daily until June 21st.

Café CLOSED June 21st do to Special Event, normal hours resume June 22nd, 2008.
